HAHA
all my work is custom fabricated by me or a friend on the cheap.
Still cost in the region of £200 for the manifold material and welding, £200 for a budget turbo, then you got management which your looking at £300 even for something like megasquirt, then you got boost piping, intercooler, probs another £100 or so, then you got little things such as the decomp plate, service parts.
You could probably just about do the engine side of things for £1k if you made it all yourself, but then you have got clutch, gearbox, a cheap china special turbo which will melt, not to mention all of the parts needed to fit the stronger gearbox such as flywheel, gear selector hyraulic lines for clutch etc. I bet he gets through gearboxes in that every month of so...
price breakdown on my project...
306 GTi6 Head, Turbo Bottom End + ancillaries £400
Engine rebuild components £300
S16 pistons and rods £70
Decompression Plate and sealant £160
Turbo Charger £200 (jaky chung lol)
Turbo manifold steel piping £100
Up rated fuel supply £220
Intercooler £40
Boost piping £130
Oil cooler and fitting kit £90
wastegate, blow off valves etc £130
Fabrication work i.e. welding £125
Exhaust steel pipe and system parts £200
Turbo oil lines £100
Solid Engine mounts £80
Old loom and wire to make new loom £35
Electrical Components (alternator, switches, battery, high current wire etc) £150
Gearbox, clutch, flywheel, selector £400
Driveshafts + driveshaft fabrication work £120
Pedal box with hydraulic clutch and master £270
cylinders + reservoirs
Up rated spark plugs and leads. Coil Pack £60
Thermostat adapter plate £25
Slim line f*n (52mm)£70
Brake line and fittings £45
Total £3700 (ish)
baring in mind some of those things wont be needed as mine was put into a 309 (hence the adapter plates for thermostat) but to do it properly and have it reliable the gearbox is a must in my opinion once you pass 300bhp. This means you need all the custom shafts and what not making up and as you can see i fitted an entire pedal box to support the hydraulic clutch. you could ofcourse just use a single pedal for this to save £100 or so.
Och en annan
Yep i spent around £12000 on my current build, its not cheap, turbo 1 grand exhaust 1 grand pistons and rods more than 1 grand lol, brakes 1 grand, it soon adds up.
360-400hk för £12000, billigare att sugtrimma ju

HAHA
HAHAHAA
